Come on out and witness an exciting seminar about dog sledding and the Siberian Husky while enjoying exciting sled demos. We will have huskies for you to meet and greet as well as information about the rescue.
Admission is free and event is open to the public.
Seminar times are 10:30am and 1:30pm and will be in the LaSalle Room in Starved Rock Lodge.
Demos at 9:30am, 12pm, and 3pm in the Visitor Center's parking lot by the sea wall.

Witness live mushing demonstrations while enjoying some terrific chili and hot dogs and you can even try your dog on one of our sled demo teams (see one of our mushers at the event).
Also this year we will be auctioning off dog sled rides. Auction begins on Jan 7th. See our website for details and to bid on a ride.
Pre-registration isn't required to attend the event but we do ask for it if you plan on attending so we have enough chili and food for everyone.

Meet Frosty the Snowman at this afternoon of fun outdoor activities. There will be activity stations and a nature hike.
Free Spirit will have a display outside about the Rescue and mushing along with sled demos.

Free Spirit's Sled Demo Team will be performing sled demonstrations every hour of the event and we will have a booth inside the Visitor's Center along with several other wildlife and outdoor groups. There will be other demos outside as well such as ice sculpting and snow shoeing for the kids (weather permitting). Admission is free but there is a small charge for parking.
