Rio is another Texas gal who unfortunately came to us heart worm positive.  Even despite needing to under go serious medical treatment but she has been nothing but sweet from day one!  She is on the smaller side for a husky and would be ideal in any environment, even apartment living.  Though she is on a strict exercise regimen while she is undergoing her treatment, she is still loving her time out and about with our volunteers and when she's done with her walk she'll bask in the sun for a snooze.  We are expecting Rio to make a full recovery and we would love for her to be rewarded with the comforts of a loving home.  If you feel like you can give her the happily ever after she deserves please consider welcoming this sweet girl into your hearts.
