| 2007 Husky Howler | ||
This year's Howler was a hot one with temperatures approaching 90 degrees. This event was still a lot of fun with a new demonstration being added, agility. This gave owners a chance try their dogs at this wonderful sport. We had a huge turnout and everyone had a good time despite the heat. |

| 2007 Wonder Lake 4th of July Parade | ||
| It was a hot day but Free Spirit volunteers turned out to celebrate our nation's birthday along the streets of Wonder Lake. It was a wonderful experience for everyone with losts of parade goers along the route to view the parade as well as our dogs and volunteers. | ||
| 2007 Dick Tracy Parade | ||
Free Spirit volunteers participated in this parade honoring the man who created the famous crimefighter, Dick Tracy. It was a beautiful day and several people turned out to cheer on all the participants. |

| 2007 Chicago Pet Expo | ||
| Taking place at the Resisance Expo Center in Chicago, the Pet Expo was huge and provided awesome exposure for the Rescue and gave volunteers a change to exchange ideas and information with other rescues and organizations. | ||
| 2007 Petsmart Spring Adoption Days | ||
| Petsmart lends a hand to rescued dogs by sponsoring Adoption Days. Free Spirit had the opportunity to participate and spread info on the Rescue and the rescued huskies that were brought had a blast. | ||
| 2007 Sled Demo and Chili Lunch | ||
| This year we had lots of snow and four sled teams showed up along with skijoring demonstrations. The chili and the vendors were as good as ever and everyone had a blast as Free Spirit continued this annual event. | ||
