We adopted Stevie (formerly Riley) in March 2007.  Sadly our Husky, Timber passed away in 2006 of cancer and we miss her very much.  We decided when we were ready to adopt another husky and we fell in love with Stevie when she tried to knock us down in teh snow.  She has brought such joy and husky humor into out lives. She is an absolute sweetheart with an engaging husky personality. Every where we go---she attracts attention---she is always sweet and friendly to all. She doesn't like to leave our side and is next to us constantly. She gets excited when she sees us in the mirror and will run back and forth to us and the mirror making us laugh every time. She loves having a routine and gets irritated if we don't follow it ---like her bedtime. She will pace back and forth and nudge us by 9:00 if we don't put her to bed---with her bedtime cookie. She sleeps with her crate open, but won't go to bed in it unless she gets her cookie. She has a husky best friend who she plays with every weekend.  She is gentle with other dogs especially smaller dogs, but when she sees a husky---she plays husky style.
