I adopted King almost three years ago and gave him his forever home. King spent many years at Free Spirit and I am sure as sad as everyone was to see him go, they were just as happy to know he had a loving home waiting for him. King is a sensitive guy who loves belly rubs and having his ears scratched. In the summer, his favorite pastime is to lounge in his kiddie pool and enjoy the cool water. In the winter, he can't wait for snow and loves to stick his face in it any chance he gets. He is best buddies with a chocolate lab, Justice, who is also a rescue dog. They love to eat their treats together and just be around each other. For anyone thinking of adopting a dog from a shelter. . .all I can say is it so, so rewarding. Karen and the volunteers at Free Spirit made adopting King an awesome experience!! Thanks guys!!
