  Dakota Dakota

Greetings,
Thought we'd drop a note to tell you how Dakota is getting along with her new family.  She has definitely made herself at home.  Even her dog-sister Holly is adjusting to having another pup in the house. Dakota is in dog school at PetSmart, where she is doing very well.  At times she is more interested in her fellow canine classmates than in the treats we are training her with!  She is definitely a social girl.
Dakota has been very good with the house rules.  She stays off the furniture and hasn't chewed on anything she isn't supposed to.  With her and Holly being civil to one another, we started leaving the crate open at night.  It was surprising to find that Dakota likes to sleep under our bed.  I've heard of smaller dogs doing that, but not a big husky, but she manages.
We have attached some pictures of Dakota.  The first shows how she gets under the bed.  It still makes us laugh.  In the next one, she is waiting her turn to get a bite of Christmas dinner after her sister Holly.
Finally, she is practicing a very good sit in our kitchen. We're very glad to have such a sweet natured girl as part of our family.

Merry Christmas and Happy Huskies,
Tim and Nicole VanMersbergen
