	Buddy

	We adopted Buddy about a month ago, and we just wanted to let you know that things are going great!  He's really gotten used to our place and his little routine, and he's bonded with us so much in the short time he's been here.  He's such a well-mannered dog and learns things very quickly.  As much as he has to hold back, Buddy has learned not to bark when he hears people going in and out of the building (something that we thought would take a LOT more work than it did) and Buddy learned to give paw in about 2 days!  He's such a smart boy!  Everyone who meets him instantly falls in love because he has such a wonderful, outgoing personality.  When he goes out for his walks, we're constantly stopped by neighborhood kids who want to pet him and say hi, and even their parents stop to ask about him. We really know Buddy's made himself at home because right away he started finding his favorite places.  The first night we had him, Buddy practically dove into his crate, claiming it for his owns, and still spends a great deal of time in it, just because it's cozy!  He also found that the couch makes a great little den if he crawls behind it (we even have a picture for you!) and the kitchen floor is nice if he wants to cool down after playing.  Buddy gets excited and playful when it's time to exercise, but calms down almost instantly when we need him to.  He's always ready to greet any stranger with smiles and kisses, but he also knows when to back off.  Buddy's joyful personality really adds to our home, and we couldn't imagine life without him!  Thank you so much for bringing such a wonderful dog into our lives!
