On September 28, 2007 a very special little girl by the name of Heidi left our "family" to lead Heaven's awaiting team to new adventures.  Heidi lost her earthly bounds after a very brave fight with mast cell cancer.  It wasn't for me to delay her calling any longer even with all our medical interventions.  Heidi shared our home for approximately 3 short months, but what an adventure.  She ran the farm with her newfound roommate Mariah who showed her "the ropes" to the good life ASAP!  Swimming, running the rabbits and occasional chicken, basking in the afternoon sunshine, and nestling in our comforters after a warm cooked evening meal.  And the treats!  A senior smorghasborg open 24/7!  But enough stopover, on to the blessed team above.  I will miss her kisses and those long soft ears and warm brown eye smile!  Mariah missed Heidi very much during her transition--but now I can only hope to join all the "Grandmas's” when my time comes.
