We were contacted by a family who were looking for help with a young husky girl that they were given by another family who were not able to care for her. Unfortunately this young and energetic girl was too much for them and they wanted to be able to find a more suitable home for her. We took in Isis and of course, she is your typical young and spunky husky girl.  If you give her an inch on a leash she will take a mile! However she's learning to walk on leash has been. much better about healing and checking in with her volunteer who is with her.  Isis may benefit from having a home with another calmer older dog to help her ease her forwardness and teach her manners.  With time and patience she is learning how to be a good girl and will make a good addition to an active family.
