Princess Leia arrived to FSSR, with 6 puppies, in the summer of 2017. After all of her babies had been adopted - she went home, as well. Now sweet girl has been relinquished back to the rescue (no fault of her own) and desperately desires to be loved, once more.
Nick-named "Love Muffin" by one of her favorite volunteer fans, how could this sweet face go unanswered?
Leia is a cattle-dog mix and being so.....is very smart, needs a job, and likes to bump your heals when you walk or run. She is just herding you and telling you which direction you should take. Not bad, always knowing someone is steering you in the right direction.
Leia is very sweet.....and once she trusts you - she will come to you, give kisses, and roll over for tons of bellies. She actually squeals with delight, when she sees some of her favorite human volunteer friends! You become her everything! She walks excellent on the leash, is crate and potty-trained, and gives Sit, Smile, Down, and Whimpers for treats!
