You know, 'that moment'......when you meet a dog and just know what he needs? The feeling plows you over and you feel his pain, his anxiety, AND his unconditional LOVE!
Jeter came to FSSR from The Anti-Cruelty Society of Chicago. He loves people and other dogs, so much, that he simply needs - one or the other...or both - home all day. He has even lived with cats! He had been adopted out 3 times- to people who left him- to go to work- and it just did not suit him.So they asked us for help.
He is one of the kindest, most gentle and loving dogs......ever. He lost something, in the past, and is afraid of losing it again. That's it. Simple.
So........he would be a total gift - to a retired person or even a stay-at-home mom. Or........if you have a dog at home, that seems a little lonely and needs a friend. Jeter is your boy!!!!!!! He walks, like a dream on the leash, and is very quiet. He is extremely sweet and gives tons of kisses, too!
Oh my goodness......he has sooooo much joy!

Jeter has separation anxiety.  He would do best in a home with a family who is able to help him over come this issue and/or have another dog in the home.
