The name Venus is associated with the words Love, Beauty, and Strength (endurance). This wonderful girl, is the sum, of all of these!

Venus was rescued, from a high-kill shelter in California, only days before she was scheduled for euthanasia. By the look on her face, we knew..... that she was frightened, not only for herself, but for the secret - she was trying to protect. She endured fear, despair, hunger, and loneliness. But this amazing girl stayed Strong - through it all.

Two weeks, after her arrival to Free Spirit, she gave birth to 6 beautiful babies! The gorgeous pups have all been adopted and are in their loving, forever, homes. Now Venus is ready for HER happily ever after..........She walks great on the leash, is crate-trained and potty trained, too!

Her Beauty, speaks for itself. These huge baby-blue eyes, look right into yours, and you feel connected - instantly. She has a soft, short coat and loves to be rubbed on....all over. At times, she believes that she is a lap-dog, and will ask for your permission to "Come Up?" , right into yours! She loves to be held and hugged.

Love..... is exactly what this sweet dog has to offer. Venus just wants to bond with someone and give them her greatest gift, of all.

Her kisses are soft, heart-felt, and extremely gracious. Heavenly.....some might say.
