Mona is a spitfire. She will gallup around the yard tossing her toys with all her might then jump to you for kisses and rubs. She will happily do this over and over until you are giggling like a child. If you love husky antics then look no further. On top of this she's very smart and picks up on training extremely quick.
Mona unfortunately has come to us with some health issues. She has recently completed heart worm treatment but is thriving and doing great! She also has some eye issues that we are looking into. We had suspected juvenile cataracts but could be glaucoma. We are still looking into what her exact diagnosis is and what her treatment plan will be.
Despite what she's gone through, she is just the light of the day for our volunteers when it's her turn for some fun with them and her zest for life has not diminished one bit! She will absolutely made a wonderful addition to any home so long as that home is able to help care for whatever medical needs she may have with her eyes.

Special Training:
Free Spirit Siberian Rescue cannot make any guarantee regarding the outcome of any dog being adopted out to household with cats or small animals. The owner assumes full responsibility for the dog’s behavior and, per the requirement of the adoption contract, will enroll the dog(s) in obedience classes to aid in the process.
Mona Needs Medical Assitance:
Mona was also diagnosed with being heart worm positive but has completed treatment and doing great. Unfortunately Mona does have slow growing cataracts. We've taken her to an eye specialist who prescribed some medication. We have started that to see what may progress and will be rechecking her in July. At this point we will have an idea if we need to pursue surgery.
