Sonic was saved by our rescue, from Wisconsin. This precious girl....had a family....but - once they realized that she was deaf- they deemed her as unfit, unlovable, and untrainable.
Not true.....and we are saving all her loving.... for you!
This sweet, sweet baby girl loves to give kisses and to explore the world around her! Just like us humans..... having some sort of handicap....only makes them, more determined. They work harder, see life in a different light, and can show you a "different" way. Sonic will sing along, with the other dogs, and her energy is endless! She loves to go for long walks or runs with you and will eagerly sit for a treat. Her passionate kisses are superb...and her zest for life - is inspiring. Not only is this girl adorable - she is also extremely smart and is quickly learning to respond to hand signals, that are being taught to her by our volunteer trainer. She greets everyone she sees with a wagging tail and a grin across her face before she smothers you with unconditional love. Sonic is s huge fan of tennis balls.... will "light up", at just the sight of one..... and even likes to sleep with one. She is an amazing girl.....worthy of tremendous love (giving it "right back at ya!"). Sonic has a "heightened" sense of awareness.....and has even alerted us to certain things...that were not right. She would make an excellent family dog, and even though deaf, protect you- as well. The love, life, and joy...in this special dog has motivated us all, at the rescue. She is just an amazing, loving, and spirited girl. We......could all learn a lesson (or two) from her..... and she could teach us, all, what loving LIFE is really about.
