Zing, Zang, Zoom! Bright, little Koda.... has just stepped into the room!

By definition, Australian Shepherds are exuberant, extremely intelligent, work-oriented, and eager to please.

Yep, got that right! Koda loves his job....playing with toys and balls...  to entertain you. He is a super acrobat- when it comes to playing 'fetch'- and will do, just about anything, to retrieve them. He jumps over things, goes under and through, and has even been seen doing a back-flip to snag a doomed ball out of the air, that would have ended up hitting the ground. We believe with training, that he would be pawsome at agility courses. Super smart, super fast... and has the talent! He could also be great doing dance routines, with training. (Shhh....He has been seen dancing, when he thought that no one was watching). Well, shucks, you could train - this little worker - to do just about anything. He loves showing off! He loves to go for runs down the road, so he would make an excellent 'running partner', as well.

Koda has a delightful personality, associates very well with other dogs, and loves people of all ages. He also enjoys going places, will jump right into the car, and behaves extremely well for the ride! 

After the dust has settled and Koda has finished working....he becomes this calm and loving teddy bear. Sneaky kisser, this one!

As you can imagine, Koda is extremely bored at the rescue. This has deterred past adopters - because when we bring him out of his kennel to greet them....he is Koda times ten! People don't give him a chance to burn off his excitement and become the calm Koda we all know and love. Give the kid a break, will ya? He's over-joyed to see you!
