This young man, that has just arrived from the Golden State, was obviously appropriately named - for a multitude of reasons! He is a very tall, gorgeous red and white, with bright blue eyes that just might make you blush when he comes up to greet you. Some may even say that he is just Dashing. Besides his good looks.....he is smart and has learned some skills along the way. He has a flamboyant personality and uses his talents to continuously show off. Usually, he can keep his composure and remain calm, doing a trick for that one toy or treat. But if he sees that you have a bag or a box of treats.....he will get very excited and everything he knows will come out in rapid succession. Sit, Stay, Down, Up, Paw, other Paw....and a whole lot of talking!
Besides loving people-Dash seems to associate very well with other dogs and even bunks with his buddy Ginger at night. He loves to take you for long walks down the road.... and even a sprint or two. He would actually make an excellent running partner (if you are into that sort of thing). He has a pretty high prey drive, though, so you should keep an eye out for little critters and other creatures, that may perk his interest. Hang on tight and diligently teach him the words "On By" and "Leave It"...........or it will be you, that will be doing the dash!
Handsome, affectionate, friendly, and fun! Better run.....this one will not be with us long.
