Korra is a curvaceous 7(ish) year old Texan beauty that arrived into rescue with mammary tumors that needed to be removed.

Like us humans, Korra loves most people but not all (can you relate?) and gets along with most dogs too, especially her male counterparts. She has shown no resource guarding behaviors while in rescue. Once she has bonded with you, be prepared for unlimited husky kisses. Korra knows some basic commands and has a zest for walks so hold on to that leash as she is a puller, an area of focus volunteers are working on with her. If you are interested (of course you are!) in meeting this perfectly aged girl with piercing blue eyes, please consider submitting an application.

Special Training:

Free Spirit Siberian Rescue cannot make any guarantee regarding the outcome of any dog being adopted out to household with cats or small animals. The owner assumes full responsibility for the dog’s behavior and, per the requirement of the adoption contract, will enroll the dog(s) in obedience classes to aid in the process.

Korra Needs Medical Assitance:

Korra has had two separate surgeries to remove mammary tumors. Though all was removed, the most recent biopsy results showed cancerous cells. We are following up with an oncologist to further her care and seek preventative measures.
