Are you looking to adopt a husky? Free Spirit is a no-kill organization, located in northern Illinois, dedicated to placing Siberian Huskies and Husky Mixes in permanent, loving homes. By adopting a homeless pet, you will be giving an animal a second chance at life. Helping Huskies, one paw at a time!

FREE SPIRIT SIBERIAN RESCUE IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION OF VOLUNTEERS WORKING TO REDUCE THE NUMBER OF HOMELESS SIBERIAN HUSKIES IN ILLINOIS AND SURROUNDING AREAS, WHILE ALSO IMPROVING THE WELFARE OF ALL DOMESTIC ANIMALS BY WAY OF EDUCATION.

FREE SPIRIT SIBERIAN RESCUE WORKS TO FOSTER RESPECT, UNDERSTANDING AND COMPASSION FOR ALL CREATURES, AND THE BELIEF THAT ALL LIFE IS VALUABLE AND WORTHY OF PROTECTION.

Please note: Due to limited space, we only accept rescues from humane societies and animal shelters that face immediate euthanasia. We do not accept dogs from private homes or owner give-ups; however we can list your Husky or Husky Mix on our By-Owner section.
